Issued in January 2015, dedicated to the late Amy Winehouse and featuring the smash hit 'Uptown Funk', 'Uptown Special' was Ronson's first UK number one album, also going top five on the US Billboard 200. Talented collaborators abound, with Stevie Wonder, Kevin Parker, Jeff Bhasker, Mystikal and of course Bruno Mars making significant contributions to an accomplished blend of pop, R&B and funk.
